Can we seperate forum posts from story posts?

Is there a way we can add some granularity to the way recent posts are displayed?

Most viewers will be coming to the site to look at the content, not the site development postings -or at leas t I hope that will be the case.

However site development postings may be the most active, as it is our primary way of communicating.

Also site development is where people could post bugs or functionality requests...

But if I came to the front page I would be more interested in seeing what stories and audio have been recently posted, not site development stuff...

Maybe there could be a more subtle link for recent site development postings...

do you mean modifying the default attributes associated with forum posts? this can be done in workflow setting, under content i think.

the forum posts are not displayed anywhere exept tucked away in the forum. you can create different forum categories for different things which can help organize bug reports, audio critques, etc etc. you have to develop topics or categories which is tricky sometimes. but usually become clear when more content is being created and the site begins to take form. for now most discussion about the site goes into "Site development" ... pretty general
