List of to dos

I am going to start a running list of todos, which we can add to and knock off over the week.

Add Creative Commons license logo into sidebar

Add new cleaner .gif logo

clean up layout of side bar objects... I'll need to think this through a bit more on what I mean. But for the short term instead of having things centered let's aliggn them to the left. Let's add a little bit of padding between the left of the side bar and the beginning of the words or boxes. I think

Add needed classes & tags to sytle sheet so that no more blue, purple, or other non-defined color appears.

Add key words into meta tags for search engines.

When you click on a story the title changes font size and shifts to the right... font should remain the same size & stay aligned with the story.

i made some progress ...

fixed title spacing/fonts

adding padding to side bar

created style rules for all links. links are default font color, just bold.

added CC License block. might look better in the footer or something more subtle.

Looks great!

two differing thought on the CC license. maybe see what other say.

1st remove the text Creative Commons license, and leave only the CC logo.

I think having it prominent on the side is good... though other may disagree.. Their logo though is really blurry. Don't they have a better one?

Second thought is that we have in small text above the CC logo saying something to the nature of: All work on tradio21.org is protected under the Creative Commons License.

But tis would be in smal font, like a foot note except prominent on the side bar...

Either way. I think it is taking shape.

but for some reason drupal's not serving the changes. might be a bug hopefully resolved in 4.6? ... let me know if you see the changes.

you can modify the block at
adminster -> blocks
edit block

The text should be white and smaller.

i figured out that i didn't select "Full HTML" in my custom block so drupal was filtering out my tag ... righteo

anyway, moved license info to the footer as we discussed ... feel free to muck with #footer in the css file or post your requests here.

? no rush. after that i think we can close this thread? i wonder if drupal has that ability, to close comments on the thread after a certain point...

when editing the node you can select read only for comments. i think that does the trick. sometimes threads run rampid and new topic need to be created rather than comments to old threads, so in some cases it's useful to turn off comments if the subject matter deviats too much or in our case, close a thread or request, and label it as "done".

just some tips
