promoted to frontpage is default

adminster -> content -> configure -> default workflow

is your friend.

just made this change because

1) i thought you requested it somewhere, now i can't find where exactly.

2) the latest stuff is on the front page, we don't have to click twice to get to the forum.

Actually the latest stuff should not be posted to the front page, particularly forum stuff.

The forum should pretty much stay in the forum.

The front page wil be for the newer content -audio & print stuff.

If a forum topic seems worthwhile to post to the front than, I can post it manually.

Well I guess for now this is here nor there, I have posted the about page but I am going to work on it.

Then we can leave the about page on the front.
