Welcome to tradio21

The tradio21 web site evolved from an intention to make a documentary film on human trafficking for forced prostitution.

After meeting a wide variety of people involved in counter human trafficking efforts, it became clear that the subject matter was broader in scope and complexity than what was first imagined.

It is from discussions with these people, some who adamantly disagree with each other, that this site begins.

The tradio21 web site will post print articles and produce downloadable audio interviews on subjects associated with human trafficking.

An RSS feed for audio and print updates is available.

A forum for general trafficking topics exists for any registered user to post their own thoughts and perspectives on subjects related to human trafficking.

In the section t-media the tradio21 project will look at the media's coverage of human trafficking and related subjects.

This project does not attempt to be a “definitive on human trafficking, migration, labor, prostitution, or the variety of economic issues that will be included in the discussion. Instead, we look on this work as an attempt to enter into a dialogue about the complexities of an issue that involves possibly millions of lives.

The tradio21 web site is still under development. Should you find something that doesn't work properly please tell us about it in the site development forum or through the contact form.

The site is currently organized into 6 areas:

Home will function like the front page of a newspaper. On it will be posted the more recent articles or audio interviews.

Audio will be the for audio interviews

Print will be for written articles or interviews conducted in print.

T-media will be for analysis on how trafficking and trafficking related subjects are reported on in the media.

Forums will function like other web site boards. People who wish to comment on various subjects can register on the site and post their thoughts and feedback. We will have forums broken into two areas: site development & general trafficking subjects.

About is this page.

We look forward to the Internet Community’s feedback and participation as the tradio21 project evolves.
